Add in the fun bar activities like Karaoke and of course bowling and you have a great evening out. Bar Down and Popular Creek Bowl provides an exceptional and memorable night out. It's a place where you can enjoy top-notch bowling, belt out your favorite tunes during karaoke, and indulge in gourmet-quality food and drinks. The staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I'll definitely be returning for another night of fun at this amazing establishment.
Not only is this an awesome bar but it's attached to a bowling alley. I have so much fun here every time I'm there. They have awesome karaoke. They have little vents that are pretty awesome too, the last one I was at was a burlesque event. I love their fried pickles and their chicken wings and their staff. I stumbled upon this place because of a friend who asked me to meet them up there, not realizing it was around the corner from my home. Literally have a blast every time I go. Definitely a place you want to go have a good time with your friends. They got a couple pool tables a couple dart boards a bunch of Foosball tables an area to play bags and sit comfortably as well as seating by the bar and in the dining area. This place is cool.
A clean fun establishment located in a perfect spot near bowling and a specialty room that was filled with table soccer tournament the day we visited. Staff was super nice, the owner is a cool chap and the Hockey game displayed the action in every direction. Great lounge area filled with couches that want to suck you into its place. A definite must for all who seek to get away from the world we live in and spend time with smiling faces while eating great food and enjoying an adult beverage!
We love love love Bar Down Sports Grill & Poplar Creek Bowl. I have attend many events here! We came to enjoy the karaoke nights, I have also been here for fun bowling parties & fundraisers. We have the best time - Diane & Amy are amazing if you are looking for a space to host an event. They will work with you every step of the way to create a fabulous event. I have hosted both my husband’s birthday party & my brother’s birthday party in the lounge at the Bar Down Grill. They went above and beyond - everything was just wonderful. There is a wide variety of food to choose from. Diane has made special items for us that were not on the menu too. They are so easy to work with on getting everything done with ease. We always have such an enjoyable experience the prices are very reasonable and the entire atmosphere is fun & upbeat. We are getting ready to host our reunion at their location in a couple of weeks and we are planning another birthday party here next month. Even if you just want to stop by for lunch or dinner, you won’t be disappointed- I highly recommend!
This place has really good food and the service is awesome! Definitely give them a shot next time you are bowling in Poplar Creek!
Just catered with Diane Marinelli and Bar Down Poplar Creek Bowl. Fabulous! It was a friends and family gathering over Christmas break. Delicious chicken Parmesan sliders, macaroni and cheese (sooo good) Italian beef eggrolls, veggie wraps, huge salad, and bruschetta. I picked it up in the afternoon and just warmed it up for 5 o’clock. Worked out perfect!!! Thank you Diane! Yummy and reasonably priced!
We had our holiday party and our host Amy organized a wonderful party. The atmosphere and value was well worth it. Check out the happy hour menu too.
I just had a birthday party for 50 guests and the event turned out great! We rented the VIP area and was perfect for our size group, plus bonus we got to use the gaming area, foosball, pool, and darts. I worked with Diane to plan the event, she was responsive to all my questions and so easy to work with. On the day of the event, our server Kat was great, she got all our orders promptly and was very kind and friendly. We had the food served buffet style, and it was absolutely delicious, everyone said they loved it! I'm looking forward to planning our next even there soon!
